The Field
This year's field has a lunar terrain made of tarp for each team, as well as a central basin crater shared by all four teams.
Solar Power Station
The solar power station can be cleaned by moving the wiper and charges a battery that can be used to provide extra power to the robot.
Radio Antenna Repair
The antenna can be returned to its upright position in order to expand the spotter area.
Central Basin Crater
The central basin crater is positioned in the center of the field and contains the Hoberman Habitat Site and two Permanently Shaded Regions.
Power Cable Retrieval
There are 4 Power Cables located on the opposites sides of the central basin crater in both of the permanently shaded regions. These can be used to complete the autonomous Power Cable Retrieval task.
Moon Rocks
There are three moon rocks on the lunar terrain, which can be collected and analysed.
